The Socialite Family gets a facelift and decorates the whole of its new offices with carpeting… We accept this desire and for a good reason! Its regressive side directly takes us back to childhood, when we used to walk barefoot in its high or medium pile. For years now, the carpeting has been reaffirming its high decorative potential. Fanny Millet keeps using it, from her living room to her daughter’s bedroom. Burgundy, green, emerald, golden: colourful, smart and original choices, which warm the place up and do you good, even in summer. And when it’s not about creating a muted scenography, we often love its theatricality. Alexandre and Ulrikk grow a boundless passion for Pierre Chapo. In order to enhance his elm wood creations, the duo wanted to respect the 60’s spirit of the apartment. Quite naturally, they talked about carpeting. They chose a khaki hue, symbol of the ye-ye. A daring choice which makes their living place very distinctive. It’s also the case in La Forêt Noire, the restaurant where everybody wants to go in the region of Lyon. It’s the last work of the studio Claude Cartier, and the restaurant is flooded with the pile of the audacious carpeting designed by the talented Dimore Studio for Pierre Frey. We are not surprised to see this carpeting in the house of Patrick Frey, the soul of the family company and of its peerless intuition to scout new trends. Abundant, opulent-looking and original, it won’t stop delighting us.
