We are in the heart of the lively Marais, on boulevard Beaumarchais, where Maison Plisson just opened. They have two adjoining places: one part is a small restaurant and the second one is a general grocery. In an elegant but not ostentatious setting for which she thought every single detail, from the shopping trolley to the grocery bag, the place is already full of life. For Delphine Plisson, Paris needed a place that would be a choice grocery, offering meat, cheese, fruits and vegetables, for an efficient and non-stop service. She chose the products one by one, travelling in the whole country and Europe. She tasted and touched the produces and met a lot of farmers. It’s a great success. A lot of people already meet there to taste a fresh lemonade or a lunch on the terrace before doing their groceries. An ambitious and daring project for Delphine, who threw herself body and soul into this adventure! She got inspiration from the American grocery Dean & Deluca, Delphine has started a unique food concept in France. We were not able to resist the temptation of the rice pudding and its liquid caramel, the homebread, which entirely satisfied our taste buds.
