Wall Lights The Socialite Family + Haos

With Haos, it was an obvious match. The discovery of this contemporary range of lamps, with simple lines and refined edges, compelled us join together and create a story of our own. Harnessing our creative forces and parallel tastes, we let ourselves be driven by our love for beauty, audacity and authenticity. We adored their first collection, a mesmerising allure of brass, ceramic and glass. It was this three-part harmony that The Socialite Family wanted to radiate through our own exclusive range of wall lights. With the original model as a starting point, we began to imagine how it could be fully admired.  It would be one to be hanged in an entrance hall, like a sculpture in its own right. But also one for sitting room, or a bedroom, or two placed side by side, resonating the symmetry of their silhouettes. Each piece is hand-crafted and utterly unique.  The roughness of the ceramic pays tribute to its origins. And from one colour to the next, Black, Cognac, White, there exists one for every taste.

Our wall lights exist in three colors (cognac, black and white) and two sizes. They are available now on our e-shop.

Sophie, Cédric, why did you decide to collaborate with The Socialite Family?

Sophie & Cédric

The Socialite Family has always been a reference and a source of inspiration for us both. We had worked for almost 2 years on the conception of our first models, and we were excited and careful about the way our first collection would be received. So when we launched Haos, The Socialite Family was the first publication to speak about us and Constance’s enthusiasm has been a great encouragement. When she proposed the collaboration it was an easy decision.

What do you think of The Socialite Family’s own line? Is it in tune with the spirit of Haos?

Sophie & Cédric

It’s perfectly coherent with the style and tone which has given the site its character since its beginnings: perceptive and elegant objects which give off a certain joie de vivre. It’s clear that the choice of materials, colours, textures and savoir-faire has been selected with a careful eye. By mastering every step from design to product marketing, The Socialite Family has given itself the freedom to attain a wide-reaching level of demand. This is an approach in which we fully recognise ourselves since we have also adopted it for Haos.

What do you think of the wall-light version of your table lamps?

Sophie & Cédric

Creating the desk lamps was ambitious, so we knew it wasn’t going to be straightforward to transform them into wall lights. But we decided to explore this path anyway. Once the first prototypes were hung on the wall, the wall-lights seemed a natural extension of the desk lamps. With their sculptural presence, they are in the same line, but they fill the space differently and the circle of light that they cast in the room makes them unique.

What is your favourite colour?

Sophie & Cédric

A shade of sienna that we adopted for our new Parisian workshop.
