Committed Family Apartment

Generous, familial, welcoming and personal: these are the keywords that define the feeling of The Socialite Family’s apartment, inaugurated at Le BHV MARAIS to celebrate Paris Design Week and the Home Good Home event. It’s a colourful space, full of emotions and eclectic blends illustrated by a choice of contemporary furniture and vintage pieces that rub shoulders and dialogue with each other in every single room to express the personality and soul of the people who live there.Constance Gennari imagined a family with a child inhabiting this space. Parents who are united and who are sensitive to aesthetics and the quality of everything surrounding them. Over the years – and from what she imagined their encounters and travels to be – the founder and artistic director of The Socialite Family shows how their taste and style has progressed. That is what is reflected in their choice of items at least. A happy mix that tells a story – their story! Here, all the decor has just as much character as them. Every item was also chosen for its ability to last over time. The inhabitants of this 130m2 apartment are aware of today’s environmental challenges and appreciate the quality of fine materials as well as handmade items, and they are particularly sensitive to the second life of furniture. It’s a concept that is fully integrated into their design scheme, composed of items selected carefully from all that the grand Paris store had to offer based on three criteria: functionality, aesthetics and quality. As well as showcasing the eco-friendly Go for Good label, The Socialite Family apartment lives, moves and changes its look with the seasons and the light. In order to convey all this to you, the idea was therefore mostly to evoke an emotive response. Because once your visit is over – whether it was physical or virtual – you will go away totally inspired! So while we may have been successful on our side, here’s something to prolong the experience in your own home. Our project’s moodboard. The thing that kickstarted it all! As it is detailed and annotated, it will help you discover exactly the ambiance we wanted in our apartment, room by room. We’ve added the product codes for the paintings, the tiles, the Tarkett floors… right down to the switches and the handles! Pretty much everything is available to you. Now it’s up to you to imagine the rest!

Home Good Home, The Socialite Family apartment for more eco-friendly design. From 26 August to 30 September, on the ground floor of Le BHV Marais, 52 rue de Rivoli – Paris 4th arrondissement.
