A desirable finish that draws its inspiration from the affluent Parisian world of the eighties and nineties that is so dear to our founder and artistic director, Constance Gennari. A true invitation to travel, it awakens in us the image of the salons of Yves Saint-Laurent and Pierre Bergé, two collectors fascinated by Chinese art and the excellence of its craftsmanship. Their fashion and design imagination has guided our choice of this luminous means of ornamentation to enhance the lines of our iconic products with its softness and brilliance. From small, mobile pieces of furniture like our Carlotta side table, to the curves of our Marcello mirror, to the sculptural base of our Gioia table lamp, this shimmering adornment is an instant eye-catcher. And its brilliance brings character to curvaceous lines as well as sensuality to other, more minimalist forms. This is certainly the case with our latest shade. This deeply desirable burgundy, like a luscious lipstick, can now be found on our Occhio room divider and our Mara angle shelf. So many strong pieces featuring the smooth feel and the precious sheen that make them such objects of desire.

The Carlotta occasional table pays a vibrant tribute to this. And also to the 20th-century French designer, Charlotte Perriand, to whom this design with its Italian name refers. A strong woman, with a prolific and fascinating output, who paid great attention to the details of her creations. With ours, it is the colourful and, above all, the shiny lacquered finish of the beechwood legs that makes the difference. A product of the unique craftsmanship of our factories in the province of Friuli in Italy, our Pio chair is made by hand. The craftsmen and women from the villages in the south-east of the Udine region are recognised today by the entire profession for the quality of their work.

Every line, every finish is the result of several days spent in a specialist workshop to create the perfect chair. The seat that will give you the most pleasure once you sit down.
