Whether it is open-plan or separate, your kitchen needs to feel personal to you! It’s a rallying point for...
The dining room! Like the kitchen, we spend a huge amount of time in it. So let’s decorate it carefully, by finding the dining table that will gather together and unite all those sitting round it. To make it so perfect that you will enjoy lingering at the table without noticing the time passing, there are two important factors: the ambient lighting, and the choice of seating. These two elements can be of different styles, mixed together! From one style and shape to another, it is easy to mix modern wooden schoolroom-inspired chairs with Scandinavian armchairs, upholstered office models or metal industrial seating. You might have searched antique shops for one chair at a time, or found a set of chairs here and there. Do what you want with them to your own taste! The more different they appear, the more interesting they are. But above all don’t sacrifice comfort for appearance. Your dining room chairs should be so comfortable that you don’t notice them once you are seated, like in a restaurant. As with our Cavallo armchair, whose stylish wooden structure and canework envelops you in comfort, choose high-backed designs that will guarantee good support and a depth that enables you to sit in the best position during your meals. If on the other hand you have a favourite old chair that has lost its stuffing or whose upholstery is worn, drape a pretty lambswool fleece over it or put a contrasting cushion on it.
