Since May, the mythic train from the 1900’s has started living a second life. At Gare de l’Est, in Paris, The Socialite Family was able to discover again the perfect curves of this luxurious machine. It was during La Table de L’Orient Express, a four-handed diner organized by Yannick Alléno and Yann Couvreur. They are two exceptional chefs, just as their gastronomic break is. Indeed, travelling in a movie set designed by designer artists such as René Prou and René Lalique is a magical and timeless experience. We were immersed in a series of meals and landscapes and we did not see the time pass during these three hours of break on the road from the Champagne to Epernay. The Orient Express was remade as in the book and has continued to astonish Paris until July 16th, before dashing to Bordeaux. It will open its doors there from July 29th to July 30th.
