Maison & Objet: Interview with three stars of design

Maison & Objet: Interview with three stars of design

Maison & Objet or the meeting of three great names in design. Matali Crasset is artistic director at Concrete LCDA. She presents her work in concrete and alternative forms and gives a beautiful demonstration of modeling around the arts of the table. Oki Sato, aka Nendo, features chocolate with a very dreamlike scenography. He is a charming character, adored by the Japanese, and never ceases to surprise us with his laser cut lines. His universe is amazing, modern, functional and innovative all at once. Lastly, the wonderful Patricia Urquiola had me spellbound with her Italian-Spanish accent. Talking to me about her family life in Milan, her daughters and her mentor, Achille Castiglioni, she featured her first furniture collection here with Coédition, a new player in design, founded by the passionate duo Samuel Coriat (founder of Artelano) and Paul Silvera.
