Leslie David and Brasserie Barbès

Leslie David‘s client list keeps on growing – unsurprisingly as she is inundated with enquiries from different brands. She is simply one of the best art directors around and a true expert in corporate identity and branding: everything she touches turns to gold! She uses her sharp eye to create just the right design and illustrations for brands, earning herself real acclaim on the Paris scene. She is full of creative flair, working in a wide range of sectors, including publishing, fashion and luxury fragrances, always coming up with new ideas that perfectly capture the brands’ image. Her latest project is Brasserie Barbès in the eponymous district of the 18th arrrondissement of Paris. Here she has revamped the entire visual identity, from the logo to the menu. After the reopening of the Le Louxor cinema, Carrefour Barbès certainly seems to be THE place to be at the moment, I got the chance to go and meet Leslie there. One piece of advice: if you want to see the place when it’s not too busy, go and enjoy breakfast in the sunshine!
