It’s been several weeks since the large tarpaulin bearing the imprint of graffiti artist Yosh has been moving, but no one knows what is really going on behind it. Baptised Garage Central, the building has been refurbished as offices. But not just any office. This place will be an extension of home, another way of imagining life in the office. Garage Central seeks to be unique and special, like its host quarter, because the 10th district of Paris is undoubtedly the most desirable place to be. It is a melting-pot, home to movers and shakers and creative types. Garage Central naturally blends into this environment, with an identity crafted by Arthur Gerbi. This young businessman wants to turn the traditional codes of office decor on their heads. The workplace is no longer a neutral space; it could be a unit in your home. Both reminiscent of home and with a style all its own, the change has been orchestrated by the well-known architect Jules Mesny-Deschamps.
